Season 3
Third season’s first episode was aired on July12, 2007. The season opens up with Kat Von D’s decision to leave the gang and move to Los Angeles, where she plans to open up her tattoo shop. The team now has to find another tattoo artist to cover up Kat. An artist from New York City, Miss D’Jo, gets a tryout as Kat’s replacement. With the tattoo business doing well, there were a few problems pooping up at the bar. Ami divides his time between days at the tattoo shop and nights at the new bar, but becomes annoyed that Nunez is spending so much time at the bar.
Nunez and Ami’s partnership faces a threat as the two have to decide between their personal relationship and their business. Ami feels stressed as she has to find new artist, along with her work on the shop and the bar. Graver offers her help which she welcomes. In the last episode of the season, Ami and Nunez are asked to judge a bikini contest, leaving Ami all the more tired.
