Where is Miami Ink Season 5……………?

Hey all you tattoo fans. Now that Miami Ink has not returned for a fifth season and there is no news about reviving the season, it’s high time we accept the fact that the series has been terminated. I know it’s really sad and heart breaking and you have no reason to let your hopes die down. But while surfing the net, I just came across a news article which just sort of confirmed my worst fears. It has been reported that the Miami Ink Tattoo Shop, where the episodes of the reality show were actually shot has been turned into a gift shop. Now if you don’t call that confirmation of the series being axed, I can’t imagine what else to say? It is so bad that the series has been ended so abruptly. The series which was the only of its kind was really doing well and in my opinion should have been renewed for a few more seasons at least.

I did not really start watching the show until it was well half of the first season. But I really liked the show after I saw its two or three episodes. It was just wonderful to watch the amazing artist create wonderful designs on the bodies of other people. The show started a new fashion trend amongst which was soon popular with every age and class of society. At the same time it revived the age old art of Tattooing. It makes me really sad to see that such a wonderful show has seen such an abrupt ending. But I really do hope that some day the creators will realize their mistake and the series will be revived. Till then let’s keep hoping!!

Miami Ink (Tattoo) fans…. Attention!

When I started writing this post, I didn’t think to give it the above title. Initially, I thought to entitle it as ‘Chris Garver at Singapore’s First Tattoo show’. But, I changed it to the given one. Reason behind this change was that I thought – this one is better. Ha ha ha

Okay, please pay attention, what I am gonna tell you. Actually, Event Organizer, Tattoo.com.sg is going to hold the 1^st Singapore Tattoo show at the Singapore Expo from January 9-11, 2009. The event is going to be sponsored by Singapore Tourism Board. Well, all you tattoo lovers will be pleased to know that your heart throb Chris Graver of Miami Ink is the show ambassador.

All you must please go there (if it’s possible). The most famous tattooists will join it to showcase their tattoo talents and also to exhibit their unique collections. More than 5000 visitors are expected to attend the event and over 60 tattoo artists will adjoin them. I think, I’ve already mentioned that I’m crazy for tattoos and that’s why I love to watch ‘Miami Ink’ series. It’s the only one show of its kind and has recently finished airing the fourth season.

Nowadays, I am looking for the updates about season 5. Yesterday, I stumbled through several sites to grab some updates buy unluckily, I didn’t get even a single update regarding season 5. When they’re gonna air it? What will be new this time? What you expect from the next season… many queries are yet to be answered. Really… don’t know, what I should do, to have some information on season 5.

Okay, if you guys have any information regarding upcoming episodes, then, please let me know. I’m very curious to know. Nowadays, I am watching previous episodes of ‘Miami Ink’ in order to satisfy my lust of some more episodes. You can also watch the season 4 episodes here!

Miami Ink- what about Season 5?

Okay, let’s first talk about the Miami Ink season 4 as we don’t have any updates regarding season 5.

Season opened on April 24 with the episode entitled ‘Make or Break‘ and 13 episodes were aired during the season. Season finale ‘And Baby Makes Three‘ was aired on August 21 2008.

Now, it’s the time to think about upcoming season. When it’s gonna air and what’d be new and refreshing this time. Most probably, we’ll once again meet with a new shop and some new blood as they done in season 4. And, who’ll be appearing this time as a customer? Already we’ve seen various celebrity faces on series and the list includes Bam Margera, a professional Skateboarder as well as an actor; Phil Varone, a Musician; Johnny Messner, an Actor; Chris Jacobs, host of TLC’s Overhaulin; Paula Meronek, from MTV- the real world; Diablo Dimes, a Musician and many, many more.

Hey! Whom you expect in the new season…. Well, honestly I am looking for Britney Spears and Tom Cruise to appear. Yeah, yeah…, I know it’s not going to happen but just suppose, if it happens… things would be rocking. If Britney can appear on How I Met Your Mother, then why can’t on Miami Ink Season 5?

Hopes are high but we don’t have any information about upcoming season. It’s dead sure that series will be back, but when… I don’t know. If anyone from you knows about it, please, please let me know and what are your expectations from upcoming season (Mine… I’ve already told you!)

Wow!! Tattooing on Miami Ink

I really wanna have a Tattoo on my right arm and I’ve found the way to get it…. Yeah,

The star-cast of Miami Ink and I’m moving immediately to Miami Beach, Florida so that

I can have what I dream about!

Initially, I was not that crazy for Tattoos. But they started to attract me when a girl joined our crew in college years. She had a Tattoo on her neck. Trust me…. It was so sizzling and we all became fan of it. Yesterday, she met me after three years and refreshed my interest to have a tattoo. Now it’s tough for me to stop my self from having a Tattoo so I’ve finally decided to get it.

Well, I am a fan of Miami Ink series just because of series’ tattoo-based plot and it also takes us in depth of the tattooing world. Why a tattoo attracts someone and how should you decide or choose a Tattoo for yourself- all this is very well-answered on Miami Ink. In addition to that, Artist-client relationship is also well-represented on series. Each episode deals with a particular customer and also throws light on his/her motivations for choosing the Tattoos. It also makes us aware that people from all walks of life are crazy for Tattoos and the customers in Miami Ink include celebrities, Punk rockers and South Beach Socialites etc.

Miami Ink has successfully completed four seasons and hopefully we’ll have one more season from series very soon. If I go to Miami Beach, Florida, whom should I go to get a Tattoo? The options are- Ami James, Chris Garver, Darren Brass, Chris Nunez and their apprentice Yojiro Harada… well, I think I will go with Darren Brass, he has a background in graffiti style design work and after consulting with him, I’ll choose the shape of my Tattoo.

Why I’m telling all this to you? Actually, I want you to suggest me some cool Tattoos and also tell me… would it be okay to have my tattoo from Darren or I should think about someone else?

The Series

Miami Ink is about these four friends, who had learnt this art together and after going on their different ways in life, decide to reunite and open a tattoo shop on the Miami Beach.

The shop is actually called LoveHate Tattoo, which is actually a Bar that Ami James and Chris Nunez own, co-owned by these tattoo artist. The series is about these four tattoo artist, with a bit of focus on their personal lives. The series also deals with the lives of its customers and their backgrounds. Their customers, who come from all parts of the world, have new and different things to share. With every episode, we have a new story, keeping its viewers completely hooked into the series.

Their decision of re-uniting and starting life from a new start is from where the series begins. Their adventure of spending life together and their personal life is shown on the screen. The series also deals with what kind of thinking process a tattoo artist has to undergo in order to develop a design.

Miami Ink rocks!!

Well I don’t have to tell you that show has been a success, definitely not, when the fourth season is on air and well received.

As far as its viewers are concerned they not very sure of the show, when it began in 2005. But the moment they started getting the knack of it, they just couldn’t leave the show.

Fans like this whole new concept of getting tattooed on air, which takes them to a completely new world of tattoos and the stories related to them. They get fascinated, by the fact that tattoo’s could turn out to be that good.

The interesting thing is that all those who would never dream of getting a tattoo on their body, they too love the show.

Definitely the show is doing well, but most it’s viewer are somewhat not of good opinion about Ami. Probably because of his too serious kind of image.

People who get themselves tattooed, could be so much attached to it or had such serious reasons behind getting tattooed, was not something, viewers were used to.

Miami Ink rocks the minds of people because giving such an in detailed description of tattoo and the tattoo world was not that has been hit before.
