From Miami To NY Etching On Some Ink!

So, are you ready for some more ink fun with the talented tattoo artist, Ami James?

After the grand success of the reality show on the life and work of James in the show Miami Ink, the maestro is now gearing up for a spin-off of the show, named NY Ink.

Miami Ink is a unique reality TV show, which features a number of customers at the tattoo shop run by Ami James and Chris Nunez in Miami. These are common folks who share their stories and motivations behind wanting to get a tattoo.

Sometimes, the audience also gets a sneak peek into the personal lives of the different tattoo artists working in the studio.

The Miami Ink episodes truly etch out the different strokes of life in Miami.

The best part about the show, however, is to see how common people, who stumble over several hardships in life, bravely get over their pain and suffering, by getting a commemorative tattoo inked on their skin.

Miami Ink started in July 2005, and since then, it has aired four successful seasons.

However, NY Ink is not the first spin-off of the show. Previous spin-offs have been LA Ink and London Ink.

When asked about how the New York show will be different from the Miami version, Ami James said that, the tattoos would be different! This would be so, because the city and the people of New York have their own charm and stories to tell.

We sure are waiting to see some of that, James!

The New York spin-off features Ami James, as he sets up a new tattoo shop in the heart of SoHo, in the Art District of New York. This area is surrounded by art galleries and is like Mecca for art lovers and artists.

In the midst of this inspiring ambiance, James and his friends discover some “raw New Yorkers” and recount their amazing stories with us!

The ‘Miami Ink’ Fad Is Still Alive!

Alright guys!

Today I need a suggestion from you.

I really don’t know how it clicked my mind out of the blue moon, but yeah, at present, I am strongly clinging to this thought.

So, the matter is this – today, while I was watching one of the episodes of ‘Miami Ink’ (which I had gotten a download of long time back) I suddenly felt an urge to get one tattoo done on my body too.

I mean, I know that it would be a painful experience; with all the needles digging into my skin, scratching its upper layer, and embedding the ever lasting design on it.

Sounds a bit scary, doesn’t it?

But, another thing which concurrently sparks my intention is that why shouldn’t I be going ahead with it?

If Ami James can have several tattoos done on his body, then why can’t I?

Have you seen how dramatic and striking the tattoos of the star of Miami Ink are?

Well, this brings me to another fact associated with Ami.

All those who have watched the reality show, Miami Ink, must still remember the tattoo shop, which formed the centre of all the events on the show?

The shop has now been converted into an exclusive clothing retail shop, partially owned by James, and a tattoo shop has been constructed right next door to it, which is also partially owned by James.

The show, Miami Ink, which aired its episodes until the year 2008, first started in the year 2005 and I have to say, post the show, the craze of getting one’s body inked shot up like anything.

And I now belong to the same category!

The episodes, backed with each customer’s narration of his story, and their impetus to get the tattoo done, was indeed remarkable.

I guess the credit of my idea of getting a tattoo made, goes to Ami James only, as I got gripped by his narrative skills on the show, and that is how I dived into the world of tattoo art!

It’s something from the old times, back in 2008, when Lady Gaga was not a household name. She didn’t wear meat on her head, and never forgot to put on her pants!

Yes, quite prior to the time, when none of us had ever heard of a name as odd as Lady Gaga.

This is a story of such times!

At that time, a 22-year-old girl, who was hanging out in LA, penning tracks for stars like Britney Spears, New Kids On The Block and The Pussycat Dolls, went to the tattoo-artist-turned reality star, Kat Von D, to get a tattoo on her back.

The two ladies got into some small talk during the session, and revealed their career plans to each other.

Destined for some serious stardom, these young girls went on to become sensational starlets later on, and today, we know them both for their unusual achievements.

Three years later, while Kat Von D owes a brand, extending far beyond her LA tattoo parlor, Lady Gaga has become the worldwide, truly celebrated singing sensation.

And the tattoo session, shot much before the pop queen Lady Gaga made it big, with her breakout album, ‘The Fame’, has just hit the online world.

While Gaga is sporting a stimulating blue skin-tight trousers and a long platinum wig, with sizable sunglasses, Kat is wearing that same long black hair and multiple ink art works on her body.

Kat Von D: Hair Loss Issue Gets A Hike!

The tattooed beauty is probably going to get some tattoo work done on her head as well, owing to the assumption that she’s on the verge of going bald!

It’s shocking but true!

The 29-year old belle is suffering major hair loss these days. Kat has developed bald patches on her head to such an extent that only wigs can make up for the loss.

But who’s to be blamed for it?

Is it the products that the artist is using to pamper her hair or her stress-clad relationship with James Jesse that has driven her into a situation that is oh-so-critical?

I, for one, actually believe that it’s her on-again off-again relation with the actor that has caused the lady to experience hair-loss, at a fairly rapid rate.

Nonetheless, she has ordered wigs along with hair pieces and extensions, to cover certain areas of her scalp that have undergone major hair loss.

However, some sources reveal that it’s the after effect of the trauma, over losing her job and being unemployed; as ‘LA Ink’ has been cancelled by TLC, after the show aired its season finale.

Well, the news is disappointing, but not more than the fact that Kat is going bald! Another reason that could have contributed to her condition is that Kat’s engagement with James was called off, amid the news that the guy is seeing another woman.

Then on, though the couple reconciled, Kat was bombarded with a bad news again – this time it was about the cancellation of her show by TLC.

Awww…I’m really feeling bad for the actress. I wish that her life gets back on track soon and she’ll soon get her hair growing back as well.

The two seem to be enjoying a cat and mouse game with one another, as they got re-engaged, not even a day after Kat went public about their split!

We really wonder where all this is headed to! Just when we were wondering what caused them to part, Kat was spotted flaunting the four carat Neil Lane diamond ring that Jesse gave her earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Jesse posted a black and white picture of him and Kat in a deep embrace, with the caption ‘para siempre’, which means ‘forever’. We are completely confused about what this pair is up to, and are beginning to think that it might all just be a publicity stunt.

Rumors are rife that Kat carried out the entire ploy about her breakup, so that she could get high ratings for the impending season of Miami Ink. But when TLC cancelled the show, she barely took a couple of hours to end the drama and get back to her fiancé.

We wonder just how much faker this woman can get! But well, we got to admit that it is her fakeness, her layers of makeup and her tattoo-clad body that have been entertaining us for years on the Miami Ink episodes.

Meanwhile, the actress has been having a tiff with the TLC network. A recent tweet of hers claims that it was after she decided to quit the show that the network announced its cancellation, instead of it being the other way round, as it was being projected. I can sense some smoke of dispute out there!

Well, whatever the truth may be, what’s for sure is that this is one woman whom we totally love to watch, and we’ll be waiting to see what she’s got on offer for us next!

Guys, the duo has already called it quits! Yes, it’s true!

The ‘seeming-to-be truly-madly-deeply in love’ couple has parted ways.

I thought, perhaps, Jesse was undergoing a turbulent phase in his life after ditching Sandra Bullock, and wanted to get rid of the guilt he was carrying after cheating on his sweetheart. Therefore, in comes Kat, and out goes my belief that they could be together!

And now, the entire marriage-thing has been brought to a sudden halt by Kat.

Only this time, I am not guessing it, guys; Kat has tweeted herself! Kat Von D’s statement on her twitter account has made me pen down these thoughts here!

The vivacious and enthusiastic Kat Von D sounded pretty ‘moved’ – if such a thing exists – when she put down her ‘on-the-rocks’ status with beloved Jesse!

A few days back, Lloyd Banks created quite a buzz.

No, he is not coming out with a new album.

No, he is not appearing in any new movies either!
Let me get the cat out of the bag!

The rapper wants to turn producer!

Yes friends, that’s correct!

But, you must be thinking of the reason behind this decision, right?
I mean, the person, who has released three solo albums and has worked with several renowned producers, must have something really strong to have compelled him to think of turning into a producer!

And the reason is – Mr. Banks believes that one can’t be perfect as long as one is an artist. One needs to have control on the speed of the music. Performers like Kanye West, Dr. Dre and Eminem have managed to gain that authority on their music.
